Gentex is a technology company that specializes in developing, designing, and manufacturing automatic-dimming rearview mirrors and camera-based driver assistance systems, among other things. They work primarily with the automotive industry, but they also produce products for the aviation market and the commercial fire protection market.
Reliance Finishing became a Gentex supplier back in 1985. At the time, we were a fairly small company, capable of supplying around 2,000 parts per month. In the decades since, we have grown dramatically, increasing our capacity by a significant margin. We are now able to process over 100,000 parts per day for Gentex, along with supplying parts for other customers.
For the last three years, Gentex has been presenting the Gentex Outstanding Supplier Award to a few select companies that have gone above and beyond, “delivering outstanding performance in quality, cost competitiveness, delivery support, innovation, and dedication to Gentex.”
Reliance Finishing was one of 9 companies chosen from a field of over 300 to receive the 2022 Outstanding Supplier Award. This marks our second year in a row as a Gentex Outstanding Supplier, as we were one of 10 companies to receive this award for 2021.
We are honored to be named a Gentex Outstanding Supplier again, and look forward to maintaining this rewarding partnership with Gentex long into the future.
